About The Author
Ivy Watts, MPH is a sought out Mental Health Empowerment Speaker, entrepreneur, and also the founder of her mental wellness blog, Beautifully Simply You. Ivy is a former All-American track and field student-athlete and a Top 30 Finalist for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award. Throughout her life, she appeared to have it all together, yet struggled with her mental health and self-worth in silence. Ivy now strives to break the stigma around mental health by sharing her struggle with her mental health through the various stages of her life, as well as her tools for overall mental wellness. Ivy has spoken to and empowered tens of thousands of students, student-athletes, coaches, educators, administrators and parents to learn the power of self-love, self-care and mental wellness.
Ivy has her undergraduate degree in Psychology from University of New Haven and her Masters in Public Health from Boston University. Ivy is also certified in Mental Health First Aid. She and her husband live in Boston, Massachusetts, with their daughter Charlotte Sang.
